Photo Quest #39 Winter Light

Comments

[this is good]
Yeah, I can see how you were in an overload. You had some great lighting and great shots!
Yes, it is nice to have good lighting earlier in the day now.
How early does the sun go down in AZ at this time of year?
Hmm good questions...let's see tonight I was coming home from the store at 5:00 pm and the sun hadn't set yet....I went out later probably around 5:45 pm to take photos of the moon and the sunet...so I guess the sun was down around 6:00 pm or so maybe a little earlier then it doesn't get dark until about 6;30 pm I think...I try and pay more attention tomorrow.
You're lucky! It's nearly dark when I get off work at 5
Yes it was that way when I lived in Northern California...here we have light until about 6:00 pm. Today we have had mostly cold and rain, very little sun..I miss the sun but it is good to have a few days without it. Then I can appreciate it more tomorrow!
Your cold is warmer than my cold. They're predicting -13 for the low at DIA. Brrrr!

We were very cold today, mostly 38 degrees here all day. That is very cold for us! I'm ready for warmer weather but I think it will be in the low 60s all week with some more rain later this week.

We always can use the rain. We got a little today and with the cool weather and the drizzle we got it should all soak in well.

Take care and stay warm.

You're so lucky! Maybe I should be living in AZ during the winter, lol

Sure come on down, love to have you! Cold today and all week in low 60s and we have rain in the valley and snow on the mountains. The snow is pretty.

Sounds nice. We might make it up to 20 tomorrow..
Burr that is way to cold for me *shivers*
I agree, I love the deserts! nice photos!

We are getting a series of snow storms!

Hi Pat, so good to hear from you...we are cold here to it was 25 this morning...very cold for us.

It must be beautiful there and you are right in season. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and terrific New Year.

I bet! More snow to come, going to be a White Christmas!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Iv'e always like the Joshua Tree, but those cacti are cool!

We do have Joshua trees in our yard but I planted them. They do grown in Northwest Arizona near Wikenberg. They are so interesting, I've never stop to take photos I will do that next we drive through.

I only seen them in the High desert of CA
Yeah that would be great! thks
OK then if I can remember. I can post photos of the ones in my yard but they are small still.
