Winners of Photo Quest #15 - Twlight Shots

First off, thanks to all that participated in this week's quest, Dafunk, Country by Design, Darcy, Emjay, Tim and Spike (last by not the least).  OK yes, Spike was late but I'm giving credit where credit is due.  I'm late too!! lol

BTW, the show I saw Cats wasn't that good...fun going out for the evening..but the production wasn't up to par.

Now down to the reason you are reading this post....The Winners are:

For Best Sunrise - Dafunk....amazing colors and composition, check out the great balance of color and light/dark in these photos...top drawer!

For Best lighting on a plant - Country by Design for the photo of the new leaves....lovely color and composition (see the Rule of Thirds)

For best over all entry - Darcy...check out all the photos in this entry..Twlight is wonderful example of repeated lines, light and dark contrast, nice diagnal lines, wonderful depth of field....photo has it all.  The painted turle photo, here is a wonderful example of how you can play with light, the water in the fish tank looks like green silk!,  Ah the mantle shot is worthy of a magazine or book cover...look what Darcy has done with a dark room and the light from the lamp...wonderful.  Then we have the leaves again nice example of light and how it plays up the colors of the leaves.
